Explore the sites at the park

Gnoll Estate Country Park was once owned and lived on by a wealthy industrial family called the Mackworths. Today the Estate has been developed into a country park surrounded by a beautiful 18th Century landscaped garden, open green spaces and wild woodlands including numerous attractions.

These attractions include the three ponds and Mosshouse reservoir. The informal and formal cascades, plus a number of historical ruins including the foundations of the great Gnoll House, the Ivy Tower, Half House and more, telling the story of the history of the Gnoll Estate.
